I've spent most of my life with a camera in my hands. I've always been fascinated by people, light, and by the way a photograph can preserve something that otherwise would simply disappear.

I also come from filmmaking.



I earned my MFA in Film Directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and spent much of my career creating and producing photography and video. That background has shaped the way I see through a camera.

I notice light, composition and movement, but I'm also always looking for the story.

At a wedding, I want to create beautiful portraits with you. At the same time I'm just as interested in the moments no one can arrange — a look, a laugh, a touch, something genuine that happens for just a second and is gone.

As time passes, I want you to look at these photographs and remember not just how everything looked, but how it felt.
